EDP Mysteryland
This August Electric Deluxe Presents returns to Mysteryland, bringing with them another bout of stellar techno to Holland’s oldest and much loved dance event.
Last year the EDP stage played host to a Brit-Berlin showdown of epic proportions – which saw UK heavyweights Dave Clarke and James Ruskin go tete-a-tete with Berghain’s two Marcels (Dettmann and Fengler). This year EDP has programmed a far more international cross-section of upcoming and esteemed artists – coupled with a stunning visual show to match.
Len Faki will be flying the flag for Germany this time, another Techno Mecca staple and Berlin favorite. From the UK – and EDLX’s own stable as the other half of Endless – Perc will be playing, along with Stroboscopic Artifacts affiliate Xhin. One of the fresher faces on this year’s bill, the Singaporean will be treating revellers to a special live set. Home grown talent will be amply supplied by Rotterdam-based ROD, and of course Mr EDLX himself, Speedy J. Completing the bill, from Detroit, the legendary Jeff ‘The Wizard’ Mills will be putting in another spell-binding deck session, and a Mysteryland must-see.
Furthermore, renowned new media artist Scott Pagano – whose portfolio includes concert visuals for Skrillex, Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’, James Zabiela, Bassnectar and Pacific Festival (amongst many others) – has designed a tailored bank of artwork for each artist playing the EDP stage. VJ Reach Visuals, who has guested at both EDP Mysteryland outings prior, will join Speedy J and the crew once again to perform Scott Pagano’s visuals live at the event – completing what is set to be a truly unmissable EDP showcase.
