Winter’s Coming! And what better way to warm the cockles than with a stellar, EDLX-sized techno showdown? On December 5 we’re crossing over the boarder toAntwerpto deliver the very firstBelgiumedition of Electric Deluxe Presents. We’re proud to be collaborating with Ampere on this one—who share the same attentiveness to youth and culture in their city as we do in our own port hometown. The underground haunt, set beneathAntwerp’s elevated railway tracks, has fast become the spot to hear the very best in modern club music with considered lighting, sound and pioneering ecological makeup to boot—the first of it’s kind in the city. And that’s just the venue! So we’ve come up with a lineup as impressive to match.

Aside from Abdulla Rashim, it’s an all-Dutch affair—though we’re not going to hold it against him. Part of the esteemed Norther Electronics crew from Sweden, he’s been responsible for some of the most deep and trippy techno music this end ofEurope. We’re still journeying through A Shell Of Speed, his second Northern Electronics album that landed earlier in the year. Which is why we had to have him perform for us live this time. Albert Van Abbe will also be delivering a live PA, someone who’s spent the last few years making decisive, heady moves via his own No Comment outlet. Dubby reprieves, warehouse revoke and soundscape richness are all part of his makeup, so be ready for the works. Last but certainly not least, ROD AKA Benny Rodrigues AKAHolland’s hardest working DJ completes our esteemed list of guests. This year has seen ROD productions surface on Figure, Klockworks and CLR; it’s been a big techno year for this diverse and multi-talented artist. We look forward to hearing him do what he does best.
